We are currently hiring a Senior Procurement Manager - Retail to join the team at RPO Recruitment. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process for our clients in the retail industry. You will work closely with our clients to understand their procurement needs and develop strategies to ensure cost-effective and efficient procurement practices. As a Senior Procurement Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead a team and contribute to the growth and success of our clients' businesses.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support the retail industry clients
  • Oversee the procurement process from sourcing to contract negotiation and supplier management
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms
  • Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a management role
  • Experience in the retail industry is highly desirable
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities
