Job summary

Marvel Placement Consultants is seeking a Senior Procurement/Contracts Manager to oversee end-to-end procurement for mining and engineering projects. You will lead strategic sourcing, tendering, and contract negotiations with key suppliers and contractors.

The role requires 8–10 years of relevant experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple high-value procurement packages while ensuring compliance with governance and project timelines. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s or ND in a related field with 8–10 years in procurement/supply chain/Contracts.
• Strong knowledge of procurement strategies, tender management and supplier performance.
• Experience with full procurement lifecycle from tender to close-out; exposure to mining/engineering projects is a plus.
• Advanced MS Office, especially Excel; ability to produce procurement and commercial reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and budgets.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement activities for mining operations and EPCM projects.
• Lead tendering, RFQs, and commercial negotiations with suppliers and contractors.
• Manage contract lifecycle from drafting to close-out and ensure compliance.
• Monitor supplier performance, cost control and risk management.
