Job summary

Staff Solutions Recruitment seeks a seasoned manufacturing operations leader to manage liquid processing lines in a complex dairy/food environment. You will direct safe, cost-efficient operations while driving improvements in throughput, yields and waste reduction.

The role requires 7–10 years in process manufacturing with at least 5 years in leadership, a strong track record in continuous improvement and budgetary control, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical or Process Engineering.
• 7–10 years experience in dairy, food, beverage, FMCG or a similar process manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years leadership/management experience within manufacturing operations.
• Proven experience in continuous improvement, budget management, yield improvement, waste reduction and cost optimisation.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, efficient and cost-effective liquid processing operations.
• Drive continuous improvement in throughput, quality, reliability, efficiency and waste reduction.
• Improve product yields and reduce process losses.
• Manage departmental OPEX and contribute to CAPEX planning.
• Lead and support manufacturing projects, plant upgrades and operational readiness.
• Ensure compliance with quality, food safety, regulatory and company standards.
• Develop and lead high-performing teams through coaching and talent development.
• Collaborate across Production, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain.
