Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Prepare bids and tenders for clients – 70% of the time.
2. Establish relationships with customers.
3. Respond to client enquiries and assess requirements.
4. Develop Process Flow Sheets and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams.
5. Advise on process improvement.
6. Design processes for the required equipment.
7. Follow up on submissions and resolve any queries or changes to requirements.
8. Process orders received for handover to the projects team.
9. Assist with overseeing the commissioning process as part of the process team.
10. Ensure customer satisfaction during installation commissioning.
11. Handle general administrative tasks in the office.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

• B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering – ESSENTIAL
• Minimum two years' experience with mineral processing equipment such as thickeners, agitators, mixers, horizontal linear screens, attrition scrubbers, flocculant plants, and others.
• Valid driver's license and own transport.
• Solid understanding of flow sheets and instrumentation diagrams.
• Solid understanding of metallurgical processes.
• Strong knowledge of process engineering.
• Experience with project management and execution.
