Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in process engineering within energy or chemical processing industries.
• Proven track record of process optimization and project execution.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II) and data analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs in power generation.
• Conduct detailed process analysis, troubleshooting and problem-solving for complex engineering challenges.
• Design and evaluate process equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance and project management teams to achieve goals.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications and documentation related to process design and performance.
• Oversee commissioning and startup of new process units and modifications.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations throughout all phases.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Contribute to feasibility studies and capital project evaluations.
