Our client, a dynamic private equity and investment management company, seeks a Senior Accountant to join their team. The candidate should be able to start immediately or as soon as possible at their offices in Stellenbosch.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Non-Negotiable)
• 4+ Years relevant experience as an Accountant
• Articles or experience at a small audit/accounting practice beneficial or similar work experience
• Leadership / Management experience – will manage a small team
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Own transport

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Managing a small team
• Operations reporting
• Calculating and monitoring Capex projects
• Managing loans and external debt
• Overseeing intercompany loans
• Overseeing shareholder loans
• Coordinating tax planning activities
• Reviewing VAT
• Performing secretarial annual duties
• Maintaining and updating tree structures
