Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Senior Primary School Teacher to join our client in Mahikeng, North West. The role focuses on delivering engaging Mathematics and Science instruction while shaping curriculum implementation and assessment.

The successful candidate will lead, mentor junior teachers, maintain records, collaborate with staff, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment in line with CAPS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education or PGCE with Primary specialization and SACE registration.
• 5+ years of teaching experience at the primary level.
• Proven expertise in Mathematics and Science; CAPS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Maths and Science lesson plans for primary learners.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Implement differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Contribute to curriculum development and review, especially Maths and Science.

Requirements

• A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., Bachelor of Education, Post Graduate Certificate in Education) with a specialization in Primary Education.
• A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at the primary school level.
• Proven expertise in teaching Mathematics and Science subjects.
• Strong understanding of the CAPS curriculum and its implementation.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and digital learning tools.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A valid South African teaching qualification and registration with SACE.
