Job summary

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately capture and maintain selling prices in SAP.
• Update pricing received from the business to ensure correct customer billing.
• Identify system errors/enhancements; perform UAT, sign off changes, and conduct training/change management.
• Review exception reports, identify non-compliance, follow up, and escalate where necessary.
• Investigate pricing errors and manage customer margins accordingly.
• Analyze pricing data to ensure consistency across locations and produce statistical reports (e.g., StatsSA).
• Log and resolve pricing-related queries in line with GBS service level agreements.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies (e.g., COBE, POPI, ABC) and contribute to compliance efforts.
• Support implementation of HSEQ policies and company values to drive performance culture.

Qualifications:

• Minimum: NQF Level 7 (Degree or Advanced Diploma in Finance or related field).

Experience & Skills:

• Required:
• At least 5 years’ experience in pricing, including inputting customer pricing into SAP.
• Strong SAP system knowledge, especially in pricing modules.
• Advantageous:
• Familiarity with pricing structures .
• Understanding of RAS (Regulated Accounting System), zone rate updates, and slate principles.
• Experience engaging with government departments on pricing matters.
