Santam Re is hiring a Senior P&C Pricing Analyst. Based in Cape Town, South Africa, or willing to relocate, with limited travel required. Job Description

The Senior Pricing Analyst will report to the Head of Pricing. The role involves handling reinsurance pricing activities, managing tools, and overseeing exposure, profitability, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Pricing of reinsurance treaties across multiple classes and geographies.
• Developing and refining pricing models based on risk variables and market conditions.
• Evaluating historical loss data, exposure profiles, and trends to set pricing guidelines.
• Collaborating with underwriting and actuarial teams to align pricing strategies with risk management goals.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Business Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in pricing, risk analysis, or actuarial roles within insurance or reinsurance.
• Strong analytical skills, proficiency in statistical techniques and software.
• Experience in P&C actuarial work.
• Excellent communication skills.
