• Monitor crop health, soil conditions and environmental factors using advanced analytics.
• Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for variable-rate application of fertilizers, pesticides, and water.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in precision agriculture, agronomy, or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of precision farming technologies such as GPS, VRT, GIS, remote sensing, and farm management software.
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation using tools like R, Python, or specialized agricultural software.
• Excellent understanding of crop physiology, soil science, and pest management.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote setting.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or site visits.
• Experience with drone-based data acquisition and analysis is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with the agricultural landscape in South Africa is a plus.
