Job summary

UpMan Placements is seeking an experienced PPC Manager to oversee end-to-end production planning and control in a flexible packaging manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for master production scheduling, capacity planning, material planning, inventory control, and ensuring on-time delivery (OTIF).

You will develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans across extrusion, printing, lamination, slitting, and pouching; optimize machine utilization; coordinate with Sales, Procurement,

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Polymer, or Plastics Engineering.
• 815 years of PPC experience, including 25 years in a managerial role.
• Mandatory experience in flexible packaging, printing, or plastics processing.
• Strong knowledge of extrusion, rotogravure/flexo printing, lamination, slitting, and pouching processes.
• Passport is mandatory.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, MS Excel, production scheduling, and team management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production plans across extrusion, printing, lamination, slitting, and pouching.
• Optimize machine utilization, production capacity, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
• Monitor raw material requirements, inventory levels, production efficiency, and delivery schedules.
• Lead and develop the PPC team and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Use ERP/MRP systems and MIS reports to monitor KPIs and improve planning accuracy.
