Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Portfolio Manager to lead large investment portfolios for high-net-worth clients and institutional investors in Paarl. The role requires deep asset knowledge, risk management, and strategy development to meet client objectives.

You will develop and implement investment strategies, perform market research, and make critical asset allocation decisions, with significant leadership responsibilities in a well-established financial firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics; MBA/CFA preferred.
• 7+ years in portfolio/investment management.
• Proven track record of managing portfolios and achieving client objectives.
• Strong understanding of global markets and investment vehicles.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with risk management and asset allocation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute tailored investment strategies aligned with client risk tolerance and financial goals.
• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities across asset classes.
• Monitor portfolio performance, rebalance assets as needed, and manage investment risk.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide portfolio updates, and offer financial advice.
• Collaborate with research analysts and investment strategists to inform investment decisions.
