Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Portfolio Manager in Durban to lead and manage investment portfolios for high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients. You will develop investment strategies, conduct market research, and make informed decisions to pursue optimal risk-adjusted returns.

You will handle client relationships, ensure satisfaction, and uphold strict ethical and regulatory standards within a hybrid Durban-based team that provides access to advanced tools and research

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA/advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in portfolio management or investment advisory.
• Strong understanding of investment products, markets and risk management.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional client relationship management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tailored investment strategies based on client objectives and risk tolerance.
