Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Materials Science or related field.
• At least 6 years of industrial R&D experience in polymer science.
• Expertise in polymer synthesis and characterization techniques.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and project leadership abilities.
• Experience mentoring junior scientists is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead synthesis, characterization, and development of novel polymers and composites.
• Optimize polymerization processes to control molecular weight and architecture.
• Analyze structure–property relationships to direct material design.
• Utilize GPC, NMR, DSC, TGA, FTIR and rheology to assess properties.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to address application needs.
• Prepare technical reports and protect intellectual property through disclosures.
• Mentor junior chemists and ensure lab safety and compliance.
