Hospitalityandoutdoor is seeking a qualified Plumber to join our remote luxury lodge maintenance team in Waterberg, Limpopo. The role requires hands-on plumbing expertise, a pride in workmanship and the ability to work independently within a remote hospitality environment.

You will carry out preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair faults, maintain hot and cold-water systems, and support guest and back-of-house facilities. Accommodation and meals provided.

Qualifikationen

• Formally qualified Plumber with recognised plumbing trade qualification.
• Proven practical experience as a Plumber.
• Experience in hospitality or remote-site environments advantageous.
• Strong practical plumbing and fault-finding skills.
• Sound knowledge of domestic and commercial systems.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning in a maintenance team.
• Good preventative-maintenance mindset.
• Physically fit for hands-on work in a remote bush/lodge environment.
• A valid driver’s licence would be advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Carry out routine and preventative plumbing maintenance across the property.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing faults, leaks, blockages and water-pressure problems.
• Maintain and repair hot- and cold-water systems, pipes, valves, pumps, toilets, showers and related fixtures.
• Install, repair and replace plumbing equipment and components as required.
• Assist with maintenance in guest accommodation, lodge facilities, staff areas and back-of-house infrastructure.
• Respond promptly to plumbing-related breakdowns and maintenance requests.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential plumbing failures before they become major problems.
• Assist with general maintenance projects as required within skill scope.
• Work closely with the Maintenance Manager and broader maintenance team on planned programmes.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, materials and replacement components.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high professional standard.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Adhere to health, safety and operational procedures.
