Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall system support and development of the Planning Product/Services.
- Collaborate with the business to understand requirements and translate them into actionable business and technical solutions.
- Guide business and system processes for developing and evolving the Planning Product/Service.
- Identify system integration requirements to meet business needs.
- Develop, maintain, and implement new products/systems based on identified requirements.
- Conduct user testing to ensure product meets needs.
- Train senior users and demonstrate products as required.
- Communicate with the business regarding implementation and rollout.
- Collect, process, and report business data.
- Advise on enhancements to existing products.
- Ensure security policies are implemented and maintained within planning systems.
Qualifications and Experience
- BSc in Computer Science or related degree/diploma.
- Experience with planning solutions in a retail environment.
- Involvement in end-to-end SDLC, including Agile and DevOps.
- Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, Unix shell scripting, and report writing.
- Experience gathering requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
- Understanding of retail planning solutions and processes.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables), SQL, and BI reporting tools.
- Advanced knowledge of retail planning and configuration tools.
- Experience with retail planning applications like JDA AKB, EKB Planning Suite, or Oracle Retail MFP is advantageous.
