Job summary

Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced PHP Laravel Developer to join our expanding applications development and integrations team in Johannesburg. You will work on our central PHP/Laravel system, integrate with D365 and microservices, and ensure robust, secure code.

Strong SQL skills, API experience, and a focus on testing and stakeholder demos are required. Collaboration with IT and business leads will drive new features in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with PHP/Laravel in commercial environments is required.
• Strong SQL skills and API experience are essential.
• Familiarity with D365 or other ERP systems is a plus.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and participate in UAT.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support integrations between D365 Business Central, the central PHP/Laravel system, and microservices.
• Facilitate data exports to external systems and other RPM Group companies.
• Collaborate with IT and business leads to design new features and improvements.
• Write clean, robust, and well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
• Lead testing, UAT, and stakeholder demonstrations; provide second-line support.
• Tackle debugging post-deployment and work with versioning tools and Agile processes.
• Apply knowledge of design patterns and architectural principles.
