ADvTECH is seeking a Senior Phase Educator to plan, deliver and assess a rigorous academic program for assigned classes, focusing on student wellbeing and potential. You will guide subject choices, collaborate with parents and staff, and uphold professional standards across the school community.

The role requires a degree with PGCE or B.Ed, SACE certification, police clearance, and 2-5 years of teaching experience, including specialist subjects if applicable.

Qualifications

• Degree NQF level 7 with PGCE or B.Ed (Senior Phase or FET).
• SACE certification and police clearance are requirements.
• 2-5 years teaching experience; 2-5 years specialist subject teaching if applicable.
• Computer and digital literacy.
• First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Academic Delivery: plan, deliver and assess the programme for assigned classes.
• Academic Assessment & Reporting: monitor student progress and provide reports.
• Student Behaviour Management: maintain positive behaviour and engagement.
• School Brand Ambassadorship: represent the school in a professional manner.
• Administration: handle administrative tasks and record-keeping.
• Health & Safety: ensure a safe learning environment.
