Placements24 seeks a Senior Pharmacist to lead compounding and dispensing services in Vereeniging, Gauteng. The role demands clinical excellence, meticulous attention to detail, and strong leadership to maintain high quality pharmacy standards.

You will oversee preparation, dispensing, and compliance with SAPC regulations while mentoring junior staff and ensuring patient-centered care in a busy pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy degree and SAPC registration.
• Minimum of 5 years of pharmacy practice experience.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences, drug interactions and pharmacotherapy.
• Experience with aseptic technique and sterile compounding is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex compounding of customized medications per prescriptions and formulas.
• Ensure accurate dispensing of prescription medications and verify patient information.
• Maintain quality control for compounded and dispensed medications, including sterile preparations if applicable.
