• PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related life science.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in pharmaceutical R&D.
• Proven record of success in drug discovery with publications and/or patents.
• Extensive experience with biochemical and cellular assays.
• Strong molecular biology knowledge and disease pathophysiology understanding.
• Excellent data analysis and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in scientific software and databases.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication for remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute complex research experiments in areas such as small molecule drug discovery, target validation, and lead optimization.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data, drawing sound conclusions and proposing next steps.
• Develop and implement innovative assays and methodologies to support drug discovery programs.
• Contribute to the preparation of scientific publications, patents, and regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including medicinal chemistry, DMPK, and toxicology.
• Present research findings clearly and concisely at internal and external scientific forums.
• Mentor junior scientists and contribute to a positive and productive research environment.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current scientific literature and emerging technologies in relevant therapeutic areas.
• Ensure all research activities comply with company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related life science discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in pharmaceutical research and development.
• Proven track record of success in drug discovery, evidenced by publications and/or patents.
• Extensive experience with a variety of biochemical and cellular assays.
