Placements24 is seeking a Senior Petroleum Geologist to join a remote exploration team in South Africa. The successful candidate will identify hydrocarbon prospects, interpret geological data, and build 3D models while collaborating with geophysicists and engineers.

Candidates should hold a MSc or PhD in Geology with 7+ years in exploration geology, and be proficient in Petrel or GeoGraphix and seismic interpretation. This is a fully remote, home-based role with global project exposure.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in exploration geology, with a focus on oil and gas.
• Proficiency in geological modeling software and seismic interpretation tools.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Petroleum Geologist to join their remote exploration team.
