Our client, a growing entity in the Oil & Gas sector, is looking for a highly experienced Senior Petroleum Engineer to focus on production optimization for their assets located near Benoni, Gauteng . This role is essential for maximizing hydrocarbon recovery, improving operational efficiency, and implementing advanced production technologies. The successful candidate will be adept at analyzing production data, designing artificial lift systems, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve production targets. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze well and field production data to identify performance trends and optimization opportunities.
• Design, implement, and manage artificial lift systems (e.g., ESP, gas lift, rod pumps) to enhance recovery.
• Develop and execute production enhancement programs, including well interventions and stimulation strategies.
• Conduct production system modeling and diagnose operational issues.
• Collaborate closely with reservoir engineers, geologists, and operations personnel to ensure integrated field management.
• Prepare detailed production reports, forecasts, and recommendations for capital expenditure.
