About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Petroleum Engineer to join their team in Kimberley , contributing to the strategic development and optimization of oil and gas assets. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of reservoir engineering, production operations, and economic analysis to maximize hydrocarbon recovery and asset value. You will lead technical evaluations, develop field development plans, and provide expert guidance to exploration and production teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and a proven track record in the oil and gas industry , driving successful project execution and contributing to sustainable energy production.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute field development plans, including well planning, reservoir management, and production optimization strategies.
• Conduct economic evaluations of exploration and development projects using industry-standard software.
• Perform reservoir performance analysis, identify opportunities for enhanced oil recovery (EOR), and implement appropriate technologies.
• Collaborate with geologists and drilling engineers to ensure integrated subsurface and drilling strategies.
• Monitor production operations, diagnose issues, and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.

Requirements
