Job summary

Qualifications

• Three-year tertiary qualification (NQF level 6) in Auditing/ Accounting/ Financial Management.
• 2–3 years' experience in Performance Audit environment; Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance audit reviews for GAS departments.
• Prepare, coordinate and facilitate audit plans with risk stakeholder input.
• Develop detailed audit engagement plans, including objectives, scope and methodology.
• Identify key risks, control weaknesses and areas for improvement.
• Prepare meeting agendas and attendance registers; manage timelines.
• Document system descriptions and perform walk-through tests.
• Ensure audits comply with GAS Performance Audit Methodology.
