SA Metal Group (Pty) Ltd in Cape Town is seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator to join the Salaries and Wages department. You will drive accurate payroll processing for a large workforce in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include processing payroll for ~500 employees, handling timesheets, overtime, statutory deductions, and HR liaison. This permanent position requires Matric and a Payroll qualification with 5+ years in a large organization.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent; payroll diploma or qualification.
• 5+ years payroll processing experience for large organizations (>1000 employees).
• Proficient with Time & Attendance software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Process SA Metal payroll for ~500 employees accurately and on time.
• Process timesheets and ensure deadlines are met.
• Calculate overtime, leave payments, and allowances.
• Handle third-party deductions and timely payments.
• Process statutory deductions (PAYE, UIF, WCA, etc.).
• Maintain payroll records in line with laws and regulations.
• Address staff payroll queries and liaise with HR.
