Job summary

MPRTC Recruitment is seeking a qualified individual to lead packhouse operations in a busy fruit packing facility. The role demands extensive experience in managing packhouse workflow, quality checks, and production processes, with a focus on citrus, soft citrus, and mango varieties.

Requirements include Grade 12, strong MS Office skills, and fluency in Afrikaans and English. The candidate should be able to work long hours and overtime as needed, and a third language is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Grade 12/Matric is required.
• Minimum 5 years’ extensive experience in packhouse management.
• Experience in fruit packing (citrus, soft citrus and mango).
• Knowledge of packhouse operations, production processes and quality control.
• Experience with electronic sizing equipment (MAF Roda, Greefa or Compac).
• Computer literate with MS Office and Outlook.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English; a third language is advantageous.
• Able to work long hours and overtime when required.
