Placements24 seeks a highly experienced Lead Management Consultant (Operations) to join their Durban-based consultancy. In this senior role you will drive operational excellence for clients, lead engagement teams, manage executive-level relationships, and shape the firm’s thought leadership in operations management.

You will optimize supply chains, manufacturing processes, and overall efficiency, develop performance dashboards, and ensure project profitability.

Qualifications

• MBA or Master's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in operational management or management consulting focused on operations.
• Expertise in supply chain management, process optimization, and lean/six sigma.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex transformational projects.
• Strong negotiation and client management skills with trusted advisor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Analyze clients' operational performance to identify bottlenecks and efficiency gains.
• Lead design and implementation of operational improvement projects with lean methodologies.
• Oversee management of supply chains, logistics, and inventory systems for clients.
• Develop and implement performance metrics and dashboards to track progress.
• Manage client engagements from initiation to completion, ensuring satisfaction and profitability.
