Job Purpose

To support business objectives by designing and executing solutions to meet both bespoke and generic needs, fulfilling requests from clients and stakeholders to achieve business results with high client satisfaction and effective risk management. This role is specific to the JSE Equity broker and outsourcing industry.

Job Responsibilities

The primary responsibility involves multi-disciplinary operational processing, with recommendations for enhancements where necessary. The incumbent will also be expected to:

  • Design and implement solutions to prevent financial losses and negative client experiences by ensuring technical correctness, compliance with industry rules, and accuracy of information.
  • Achieve financial targets by establishing a robust sales pipeline and embedding efficiency targets through process and procedure improvements.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with peers, managers, clients, and external stakeholders through regular communication and engagement.
  • Optimize business capacity via process refinements and improvements.
  • Enhance service level agreements through regular reviews and act as a contingent capacity across the outsourcing value chain when required.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, building personal capability through identifying training and development needs.
  • Motivate peers and contribute to a high-performing team environment by sharing knowledge, encouraging innovation, and fostering positive behaviors.
  • Lead by example by embodying Nedbank's vision and values, acting as a positive brand ambassador.
  • Participate in initiatives to improve organizational culture and support a differentiated client service culture.
  • Contribute to corporate responsibility initiatives and team improvement plans.
