Our client, a leading manufacturer of industrial components, is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to oversee its operations in the Southern Gauteng region, specifically focusing on the Vereeniging, Gauteng, ZA area. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely.
• Manage the supply chain, including procurement, inventory control, and logistics, to ensure optimal resource availability.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of supervisors, production staff, and support personnel.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control protocols.
• Manage departmental budgets, controlling operational expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
