Profile Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to take full operational responsibility for a press shop manufacturing facility. The role focuses on meeting customer requirements through efficient resource utilisation, adherence to schedules, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

The candidate will oversee production and support functions, drive shop-floor management routines, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across multiple shifts and teams.

Qualifications

• Requires a National Diploma in Operations Management, Technology Management, Engineering or Production Management.
• 10 years’ press shop experience in automotive manufacturing.
• 10 years’ supervisory experience in a Tier 1 automotive environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational management of a satellite manufacturing plant.
• Drive lean manufacturing, productivity and continuous improvement
• Ensure resources are planned efficiently across shifts.
• Coordinate with planning, logistics, quality, maintenance and process engineering.
