Your Responsibilities will include:
- Craft and execute the company's strategic vision and long-term objectives in alignment with the Directors' vision.
- Supervise and orchestrate all operational functions, encompassing supply chain management, inventory control, driver management, software, and logistics.
- Propel product and tech innovation by staying abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and customer insights.
- Devising and implementing operational strategies, policies, and procedures to amplify efficiency, curb costs, and bolster productivity.
- Identify and integrate technology solutions and automation tools to streamline processes and fortify operational efficiency.
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, including software development, quality assurance, and driver support, to ensure seamless coordination.
- Work closely with marketing teams to conceive effective user (driver) acquisition and retention strategies, driving revenue growth.
- Strategize and oversee operational budgets, allocating resources judiciously and monitoring expenses to meet financial targets.
- Supervise inventory management, including software assets, and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to pinpoint areas for enhancement and execute corrective measures as necessary.
- Provide leadership and guidance to all departments and functional areas, nurturing a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Recruit, lead, and mentor a team of operations professionals, fostering high performance and professional growth.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with suppliers, fleet owners, and third-party providers to ensure reliable and cost-effective services.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to preempt potential disruptions.
- Continually evaluate and optimize operational processes, actively seeking avenues for innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or related field.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in operational management, including leadership of operational teams and expertise in principles, processes, and best practices across multiple functional areas.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with in-depth knowledge of business operations, finance, marketing, and sales.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, adept at inspiring teams and fostering relationships with stakeholders.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability through strategic planning, innovation, and execution.
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies, with a history of implementing process improvements and change management initiatives.
- Experience in managing organizational change, overcoming challenges, and achieving successful outcomes in dynamic environments.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
- Effective at managing multiple priorities and stakeholders, delivering results under pressure and within tight deadlines.

Salary: R40 - R60 CTC
