Key Performance Areas

Crime and Loss Prevention

1. Supervise control room operations.
2. Monitor CCTV, fire detection, panic alarms, radio and telecommunication equipment, PA system, UPS generator and access control systems.
3. Activate emergency procedures in case of emergency.
4. Monitor access control (programming, issuing, enabling, disabling of access disks).
5. Control all security registers.
6. Investigate security breaches and compile reports.
7. Undertake security threat and risk assessment (TRA).
8. Implement effective access control measures.
9. Develop post orders for security personnel.
10. Monitor a security-guarding contract.

Reporting

1. Contribute to the preparation and submission of Regulation reports.
2. Aid in the development of functional reporting systems, for management, project or performance reporting.
3. Report regularly and periodically, perform necessary submissions as and when required to provide progress updates and/or inform management decisions.

Event Security

1. Coordinate security services during Board/ ministerial meetings.
2. Conduct Close protection if and when necessary.
3. Coordinate security during RAF-approved offsite events.
4. Supervise contract security during RAF events.
5. Examine and transport claims documents.
6. Ensure Safety and Security of stakeholders.
7. Escort and guard RAF assets during the road projects.

Stakeholder Management

1. Maintain proactive and progressive relationships with key stakeholders.
2. Deal with inquiries and requests for information from both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications And Experience

1. National Diploma in Security Management related qualification.
2. PSIRA Grading.
3. Security Management Certificate (SSA) added advantage.
4. Relevant 4 years’ experience in a Security environment.
5. Security / Safety jobs.
