Job description

Responsible for the installation and configuration of complex networking systems and will work closely with our customers to ensure their needs are met.

Location: Johannesburg West Rand

Salary Range: R 20 000.00 – R 30 000.00

Working hours: 8:00am to 17:00pm and overtime when needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

5 years of experience in networking installation and configuration

Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN

Experience with Cisco and/or Juniper networking equipment.

Must have a smart phone & Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Supervise the installation and maintenance of equipment and systems.

Install and configure networking equipment, such as routers, switches,

firewalls, and access points.

Ensure that projects are completed on time & to the highest standard.

Provide technical training and support to junior technicians.

Communicate with clients and project managers to ensure customer

satisfaction.

Conducting quality control inspections to ensure that installations meet

industry standards.

Ensure that all safety procedures are followed at all times.

Troubleshoot and resolve networking issues in a timely and efficient

manner.

Work closely with customers to understand their needs and

recommend appropriate solutions.

Prepare technical reports and documentation for customer projects.

Stay up to date with the latest networking technologies and industry

trends.

Keep accurate records of all installations and maintenance.

Attending the site surveys and providing accurate, detailed, and

complete site survey reports.

Manage all on-site installation, configurations, setup and training of all

relevant systems, hardware, services and testing the system to ensure

proper documentation of all related processes.

Closure of all installations and submission of accurate and complete

job cards.
