Job description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Network Engineer to join our company. The Engineer will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining all enterprise network platforms. The role involves leading efforts to support existing solutions and designing new capabilities to enhance user and customer experience.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Develop and design scalable, efficient, and high-performing telecommunication transmission networks.
2. Create detailed architecture plans, network diagrams, and technical specifications.
3. Prepare HLD, LLD, and As-Built documents.
4. Develop comprehensive design documentation, including network architecture, workflows, and technical guidelines.
5. Develop budgets and Bill of Materials (BOMs) for network designs and implementations.
6. Oversee deployment and integration of transmission systems.
7. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation and adherence to design specifications.
8. Monitor and analyze network performance to identify and address bottlenecks or vulnerabilities.
9. Propose and implement solutions to improve network reliability, latency, and throughput.
10. Research emerging technologies and industry trends for integration into the network.
11. Conduct feasibility studies and pilot projects for new transmission technologies.
12. Stage, test, install, and bring equipment into service.

Skills and Experience Required

• Cisco Networking Knowledge (Routers, Switches, BGP, SDN, SDA, SD-WAN).
• Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS.
• Extensive experience with VLAN, VPNs, Firewalls, Cybersecurity, and IP routing protocols.
• Understanding of Wireless network technologies.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware).
• Experience in infrastructure maintenance and alerting routines.
• Knowledge of Cloud Platforms (M Suite, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud); AWS and Google Cloud preferred.

Desirable Skills

• CCNP or higher certifications; CCIE advantageous.
• Cisco SD-WAN Specialist.
• Wireless experience.
• Presales experience (preferred but not essential).
