Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a senior networking engineer to implement and manage SD-WAN solutions, including Cisco and Fortigate devices. You will handle installations, configurations and the necessary project close-out tasks in a customer-facing role.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 years in networking, strong TCP/IP knowledge and hands-on SD-WAN experience with Meraki, Viptela, and Fortigate, along with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT/Computing or related field; a B.Sc Eng, B.Sc or B.Comm preferred.
• Cisco certification: CCNA required; CCIP/CCNP advantageous.
• Hands-on SD-WAN experience with Meraki, Viptela, Fortigate.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a networking environment.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, HSRP).
• Standby and overtime as required.
• Working knowledge of hardware, OS, and network architecture.
• Customer-focused, proactive problem-solving and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure, install and test SD-WAN devices; ensure precise and timely installations.
• Perform administrative tasks to close out jobs and projects.
