Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define network requirements and ensure timely project delivery.
• Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement network enhancements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide emergency network support.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a significant focus on fiber optic technologies.
• Proven expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching technologies, and network security principles.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG).
• Strong understanding of telecommunications principles and infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Experience with DWDM, GPON, and FTTx deployment is essential.
