Senior Network Engineer

This is a remote position.

We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team on-site (Monday to Friday, office hours). You’ll be instrumental in delivering Tier 2 / 3 support, supplementing our internal support team, and leading efforts across design, implementation, and troubleshooting of complex Cisco ACI-based networks. This is a hands-on role where deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving, and a collaborative mindset are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expert-level Tier 2 / 3 network support for local and wide-area networks.
• Supplement the internal support team by also handling Tier 1 calls when required.
• Participate in and contribute to major projects—network design, implementation, configuration, and security.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance in complex Cisco ACI environments.
• Maintain, monitor, and manage network infrastructure via Cisco Prime and Cisco DNAC.
• Support and implement security technologies including CheckPoint, ASA, Firepower, ISE, and F5.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure network stability and scalability.

Required Skills & Experience

• CCNP Certified – preferably Data Centre with ACI or Routing & Switching.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in enterprise networking roles.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Cisco ACI.
• Proven experience with Cisco Prime and Cisco DNAC for network management.
• Solid knowledge in routing, switching, and network security (including Firewalls and VPNs).
• Experience with wireless network infrastructure (certification a bonus).
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Desirable (Nice to Have)

• Security certifications (e.g., CCNP Security, CCSA, etc.).
• Wireless certifications (Cisco or equivalent).
• Exposure to cloud network integration (AWS / Azure networking models).
• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible) is a plus.
