Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience or 7+ years with a relevant 1-year certification
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on business impact
• Mindset focused on optimisation, efficiency, and continuous improvement
• Practical experience with backend technologies (e.g., .NET)
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a continuous improvement culture by identifying opportunities to optimise systems, streamline processes, and deliver greater business value
• Work within a Kanban team on new feature development and enhancements to existing applications
• Collaborate with technical leads and senior developers to design and deliver robust software solutions
• Develop high-quality backend services using .NET technologies and contribute to modern frontend applications
• Write and maintain automated tests, taking ownership of quality throughout the lifecycle
• Participate in peer code reviews, providing feedback while improving your own skills
• Ensure code is well-documented, maintainable, and ready for deployment
• Investigate and support production issues, resolving problems efficiently
• Share knowledge proactively and contribute to a collaborative team environment
• Suggest and implement improvements to development practices, team processes, and engineering standards
