Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a .Net Application Developer to design, write and maintain C# code for client projects in South Africa. You will work in a project team, provide technical support, and participate in meetings with management and stakeholders.

The role emphasizes delivering quality software, adhering to sprint plans, and continuously improving production systems. Strong knowledge of C#, SQL and object-oriented design is required, with experience in MSMQ/WCF and modern .NET

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in C# and SQL
• Experience with MSMQ and WCF
• Experience with LINQ and Entity Framework
• Experience with unit testing frameworks
• Experience with mocking and mapping frameworks and Jasmine
• Experience with Castle Windsor, StructureMap and Spring.Net
• Knowledge of object-oriented software development principles

Responsibilities

• Design, write and maintain C# code for projects and client needs
• Provide technical support to stakeholders and participate in project meetings
• Continuously monitor production environment and optimize where needed
• Deliver work products on time and within budget, with sign-off when required
• Participate in research to support system software decisions
• Communicate new features to stakeholders and scrum team
