Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a senior .NET developer to design, implement, and maintain software solutions in a financial services context. You will work with C#, Visual Studio, Blazor Server, and the broader .NET stack to deliver scalable, high-quality applications that meet business needs.

You will write SQL Server database scripts, perform unit testing, evaluate existing systems for improvements, and collaborate with developers and business teams to ensure reliable, well-documented code

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
7+ years in IT (non-negotiable).
Over 3 years with C#, Visual Studio, .NET and Blazor Server.
Over 3 years with Bootstrap and .NET stack (Web API, MVC, .NET 4.5, .NET Core, EF Core, WCF).
Experience in financial services is advantageous.
Knowledge of CRM, SharePoint, and SSIS is advantageous.
Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server 2017 and SQL queries.

Responsibilities

Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs and services.
Creating and maintaining SQL Server database tables, functions, and stored procedures.
Implementing unit testing for new software modules or services.
Evaluating operational feasibility and identifying areas for improvement in existing programs.
Maintaining and upgrading existing systems.
Collaborating with other developers and business teams.
