Be Different is seeking a senior .NET backend professional to join our development team in South Africa. You will design, build, and maintain high-quality APIs, ensuring seamless integration with systems and third-party services.

The role emphasizes clean, scalable code, test-driven development, and collaboration with frontend developers to create robust software solutions. The ideal candidate has extensive back-end experience, hands-on Azure exposure, and familiarity with Scrum/Agile practices,

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma related qualification required.
6+ years’ experience in .NET Core and .NET Framework.
Extensive experience in back-end development.
Experience with Azure and high-availability environments.
Exposure to Scrum / Agile development methodologies.

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality APIs.

Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues and bugs.
Work closely with product managers, designers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver quality solutions.
Participate in design, planning, estimation, stand-up and retrospective meetings.
Demonstrate a passion for design patterns and creating elegant, efficient solutions.
