Job summary

Solas IT Recruitment in Rosebank, Johannesburg, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong back-end focus to join a growing engineering team. The role involves building scalable .NET/C# applications, REST APIs, and cloud services on Microsoft Azure, collaborating with front-end React developers and QA.

You will work across back-end services, databases, messaging, and CI/CD pipelines in an Agile/SAFe environment, with emphasis on performance, reliability and scalable architecture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong hands-on development with C# and .NET / .NET Core.
• Experience building REST APIs and back-end services.
• Good understanding of service-oriented and distributed architecture.
• Commercial experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Azure Service Bus or similar messaging technologies.
• Strong SQL Server experience including performance tuning and design.
• Experience with EF Core and Git/CI-CD.
• Ability to work across the full stack when required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable applications using C# and .NET.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and back-end services.
• Work with SQL Server, Entity Framework and Dapper.
• Develop solutions using Microsoft Azure and related services.
• Contribute to SOA, messaging and event-driven architectures.
• Collaborate with React front-end developers and QA.
• Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
