Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Senior Multimedia Designer for a hybrid role in Durban. You will design and deliver multimedia content that aligns with client branding, collaborating with designers, leads, and copywriters to produce high-quality outcomes.

You should have 6-8 years in branding, with 2-4 years in multimedia design, and a 3-year degree or diploma; experience in multinational tech environments is preferred to enhance software branding across platforms.

Qualifications

• Relevant 3 year degree / Diploma is required.
• 6-8 years experience in branding with 2-4 years in multimedia design.
• Working in multinational tech companies is preferable.
• Experience enhancing branding of software products or services through multimedia platforms is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop multimedia ideas and content such as animations, illustrations, video and audio in collaboration with designers, leads and copywriters to produce high quality multimedia content aligned with brand specifications and client messaging.
• Capture, edit and manipulate audio and visual media to fit brand and legal requirements while maintaining brand integrity.
• Develop storyboards for animations and video production to provide a sequential framework for multimedia content.
• Analyse and shortlist multimedia content against storyboards to create narrative options for the final product.
• Capture and influence stakeholder requirements to ensure clarity of media content.
• Archive all design work per templates and archiving systems to create a repository for future use.
• Manage workflow across multiple projects to ensure delivery of social media content on schedule and within budgets.
• Create and drive technical delivery plans for multimedia content delivery to support branding strategy execution.
• Plan creation of multimedia content to allocate the correct timeline per brief based on priorities.
• Align and implement multimedia delivery practices with Branding team processes and tools.
• Research latest media techniques and apply to daily activities to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiencies.
• Advise and guide junior team members throughout their creative journey.
• Maintain a stakeholder map and align with stakeholders on value and brand content delivery.
