Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Physiotherapist with an MSK focus to join our leading Sandton practice in Gauteng. You will diagnose and treat a wide range of MSK conditions, lead patient assessments, and mentor junior therapists, while collaborating with referring physicians to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physiotherapy is required.
• HPCSA registration as a Physiotherapist is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience focused on MSK physiotherapy.
• Advanced manual therapy and exercise prescription skills.
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and patient education abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive MSK assessments and document findings.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Perform hands-on manual therapy techniques.
• Prescribe and supervise targeted exercise programs.
• Educate patients on conditions, pain management and self-care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other therapists for coordinated care.
• Mentor junior therapists and students.
• Stay updated on MSK research and best practices.
• Contribute to clinical protocol development.
