Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Software Engineer (Mobile) to design, build and maintain a React Native mobile app for iOS and Android. You will work with designers and product managers to deliver new features and improve performance and user experience.

You will participate in code reviews, collaborate with distributed Agile teams, and stay updated with the latest mobile technologies while delivering high-quality, scalable software. Strong affinity for software craftsmanship and TDD.

Qualifications

4+ years of mobile app development experience.
Experience building for iOS and Android.
Knowledge of Redux and state management libraries.
Experience with RESTful APIs and web technologies.
Familiar with Agile methodologies and SDLC.
Passion for gaming and the gaming community.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain the mobile application using React Native.
Collaborate with designers and product managers to develop new features and improve existing ones.
Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
Ensure performance and user experience optimization.
Coordinate with UI designers, tech leads, front-end and back-end developers for full-stack optimization.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
Report problems on time, specify needs, and present status reports to delivery managers.
Work with geographically distributed agile teams to deliver high-quality code.
Participate in all agile planning meetings and stand-ups.
Perform unit and integration testing; practice TDD.
