Work setup: In-office

Our client in the global professional services industry is seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Architect to drive the technical direction of a large-scale mobile initiative. This role will focus on designing, developing, and optimizing mobile solutions using React, React Native, and TypeScript, ensuring they are scalable, high-performing, and aligned with business needs. The Senior Mobile Architect will collaborate across teams to define best practices, implement technical excellence, and create seamless mobile experiences across iOS and Android platforms.

What you will do :

• Define and maintain a scalable, modular, and maintainable mobile architecture.
• Guide technical decisions on React Native, React, TypeScript, and mobile development best practices.
• Optimize performance and usability across iOS and Android platforms leveraging React Native efficiently.
• Drive performance enhancements, enforce security compliance, and maintain high code quality standards.
• Partner with Product Managers, Designers, Developers, and other Architects to ensure alignment with business and technical goals.
• Define and implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps strategies for mobile applications.
• Establish coding standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices to ensure long-term sustainability.
• Provide technical mentorship to developers, fostering a culture of excellence.

Qualifications :

• 10 years of mobile development experience, with at least 4 years in an architectural leadership role.
• Expertise in React Native, React, and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of iOS and Android platforms, including native integrations when required.
• Experience designing microservices, API integrations, and GraphQL/RESTful services for mobile applications.
• Deep knowledge of mobile security best practices, including authentication methods such as OAuth and JWT.
• Strong understanding of state management solutions (Redux, Recoil, MobX, or Context API).
• Experience with Cloud and DevOps strategies (Azure, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and automation strategies.
• Hands-on experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills with expertise in performance tuning and debugging tools.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise mobile applications.
• Familiarity with AI/ML-driven mobile experiences.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum.
• Experience with app store deployment and release management.
• Contributions to open source projects or tech communities.
