Job summary

Kennametal Inc. is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer for its Mining Sector in South Africa. The role focuses on Hard Rock mining (underground and open cast) and involves identifying opportunities, leading negotiations, and driving revenue growth across customers and distributors.

Qualifications

Technical Engineering Qualification – Preferably in a related field.
5+ years of sales and sales leadership experience.
Proven commercial understanding with a track record of developing strategies.
Experience managing Key Accounts and Distributors within mining.

Responsibilities

Drive opportunities within mining sector, including new business and existing accounts.
Lead commercial negotiations aimed at achieving Sales and EBITDA targets.
Develop and articulate sales strategy for the role and sector.
Maintain budgets and margins, provide forecasts and reports.
Collaborate with design/production/engineering to align customer needs.
