The role involves developing short- and long-term mine plans, optimizing production, and improving drilling and blasting performance while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with geologists, surveyors, and operations leaders to maximise resource recovery and maintain production targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering or related engineering field.
• 5–10 years mining engineering experience in underground or surface environments.
• Experience with mine planning software and project management.
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize short- and long-term mine plans.
• Develop underground mining layouts and extraction sequences.
• Prepare production schedules and reserve/resource plans.
• Support safety and regulatory compliance in operations.
• Collaborate with geologists, surveyors, and operations teams.
• Lead engineering analysis and technical reporting.
• Drive productivity improvements and cost-control initiatives.
