Job summary

Vedanta Zinc International's Transformation Centre of Excellence is seeking a Metal Accounting Senior Officer in Aggeneys to govern sampling QA/QC, validate metallurgical data, and ensure traceable, audit-ready measurement processes across ore, stock, and concentrates.

You will support mass balance prep, partner with labs and operations, and drive improvements in measurement systems and reporting, contributing to reliable production reporting and business decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mining or Mineral processing fields or equivalent.
• Internal auditing/ Finance-related qualifications are advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence and medical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Sampling governance and QA/QC oversight to ensure compliance with VZI and AMIRA standards.
• Validate plant and lab data from SCADA/DCS/PI, weighbridges, moisture and density meters.
• Prepare and review mass balance for plant feed, concentrates, tailings and residues.
• Coordinate with labs to ensure turnaround times and method compliance.
• Maintain audit-ready mass balance files and data logging.
• Identify losses or measurement gaps and support corrective actions.
• Coordinate with labs, survey, inspection and sampling partners.
• Support internal and external metal accounting audits and safety compliance.
