About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) to join our team. This role requires a passionate and credible scientific expert to engage with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the field of oncology.
Key Responsibilities:
External Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, KOLs, and healthcare professionals.
Spend 60% of your time in field-based, customer-facing activities.
Share insights on therapeutic areas, product utilization, and unmet clinical needs.
Represent the company at conferences and meetings, bringing back valuable updates on scientific advancements.
Map KOLs for relevant oncology areas and establish a scientific advisory board.
Plan and execute speaker development programs and scientific collaborations.
Medico-Marketing Support: Contribute to the development of scientific communication strategies within the Brand Plan.
Conduct continuous medical education initiatives, including webinars and in-person sessions.
Create specialized content tailored to different target audiences and extract actionable customer insights.
Develop a regional disease area medical strategy and provide input for patient and HCP journey mapping.
Data Generation and Publications: Identify data gaps and propose post-marketing studies.
Collaborate on study synopses, protocols, and publications in credible scientific journals.
Support clinical trial initiatives, including site identification, recruitment, and data presentation.
Sales Force Engagement and Training: Provide medical training to sales teams and cross-functional brand teams.
Compliance and Ethics: Ensure full adherence to ethical guidelines and company policies.
Maintain up-to-date training records and adhere to all training requirements and timelines.
Strategic Vision and Leadership: Communicate clinical insights and contribute to shaping the medical strategy.
Lead transformation initiatives across the Business Unit to drive innovation and excellence.
Qualifications and Experience:
Educational Background: PhD or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, or Medical Sciences.
Experience: At least 3 years in a medical affairs role within the pharmaceutical industry.
Specialization: Oncology experience is essential.
Skills: Advanced stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation skills.
Proven experience in launching innovative assets.
Strong medical writing and strategic thinking abilities.
